ALMOND PASTE PASTRIES

Almond paste pastries are sweets typical of the Sicilian tradition.



From the intense scent and flavor of almonds, these pastries are slightly crispy outside and soft inside.

 

Ingredients:


  

100g Sweet almond flour

15g Potato starch

50g Powdered sugar

40ml soy milk

Orange and lemon peel (half an orange and half a lemon)

Vanilla (half pod)

Decoration: Toasted almonds and candied cherries



 

Instructions:


• In a bowl, combine the almond flour, potato starch and icing sugar.

• Incorporate the soy milk and mix the mixture.

• Add the orange and lemon peel and the vanilla to the mixture.

• Work the mixture again until all the ingredients are mixed.

• Let the dough rest in the fridge for at least 1 hour, covering it with the kitchen film.

• Put the mixture in a saccapoche ( https://amzn.to/2T5LVBq ) and form the biscuits.

• Decorate the biscuits with toasted almonds and candied cherries.

• Bake the cookies in a ventilated oven at 180 ° C for 15-20 minutes.
